I absolutely loved the first Burlesque course, and even more so I took the second which I have nearly finished. Divine Destiny's thorough step by step instruction ensures the routines can be followed easily and therefore enjoyed. I have found this burlesque course very tasteful and not at all seedy. I have recommended this course to both family and friends. My sister has recently joined course one and she loves it to. I feel these courses have greatly increased my self confidence within dance and my social life. I feel this class has allowed me and other women to feel sexy and to be comfortable with that.

I have attended both course one and two of the burlesque classes and they are truly amazing. Not only do you learn routines and how to move like a burlesque performer it also helps to build body confidence and self esteem as you learn to how to hold yourself in a elegant manner and look good.

You also get to meet some fantastic people. Everyone is in the same boat we all just want to learn and have fun; it is always a fun and friendly atmosphere. Devine Destiny is a fantastic teacher. She breaks down the routines into easy manageable pieces and before you know it you have learnt a whole routine. The teacher is very friendly and makes the classes fun so you don't feel stupid if you can’t get it at first.

I am so glad i signed at the start and will continue to do every course as there is always new thing to learn and Burlesque is just so interesting and makes you feel womanly. Becky

The first burlesque course is a lot of fun. A group of women getting together to dance. The dancing itself encouraged me to feel sexy and make the most of my curves. I loved it and am looking forward to course two. E Holmes

Having danced all my life I have always wanted to have a go at Burlesque. It is great for confidence building and good for self esteem. It is very feminine and lots of girly fun. The teaching incorporates the history of Burlesque right from the very beginning as well as modern dance. Louise Hinton

I was looking for a new hobby as well as a way of keeping fit and Burlesque was the perfect answer. I have always admired the glamour and history of Burlesque. Not being an experienced dancer, Maggie soon puts your mind at rest by talking you through each step which then makes it easier when you put the routines together. I was a little apprehensive that we might have to do an actual ‘striptease’ but it’s nothing like that, it’s more about the dancing and is great for improving your posture and you keep your clothes on! We always have such a giggle but it is also a sense of achievement when you have completed the routines and see yourself improving week by week. Stella Cordwell

I am always looking for new and interesting ways to keep fit as I find the gym so boring and repetitive, so when I saw the Burlesque classes advertised I jumped at the chance to try something new. I am 5 weeks through my first course know and really enjoying it. Every week I learn a new routine which have included different props such as gloves, coats and bra's also modern and old fashioned burlesque routines. The best thing about the classes is it is for all age ranges and all shapes and sizes. I really have a good time at my class and look forward to it every week. It allows you to be as flamboyant and as fun as you want and builds confidence so you can strut your stuff. I will definitely be continuing on to do the second course. Vicky Perks

I did the first burlesque course out of curiosity because I wasn't sure what it was. I'm glad I did as we had so much fun. I enjoyed it so much I did the second course and am looking forward to course three. It builds you confidence, is great exercise and fun all at the same time.
